WHAT WILL HAPPEND THIS SUNDAY?: SPANISH ELECTIONS.

In accordance with our Constitution, Spanish citizens over 18 years old will vote this Sunday. But...

What are we going to vote for? 

Look at the outline below, it is based on our Constitution (art. 66).

The adults will vote for our representatives in the Senate and in the Congress (senators and deputies). And after that, our representatives will elect the president of the government in the "Congreso de los diputados". He or she is elected by indirect suffrage.

Why is importante to vote? 

We live in a democratic society. The politicians we choose decide many things for us:  

how to use our tax money or the subjects you should study. 

Each political party has its ideas on how to do all these things. These ideas are written in 

their electoral programs. Voters should read these programs and choose the one that best 

suits what they want.
