A female astronomer in Al Andalus: Fátima al-Mayriti (Fátima de Madrid)

Muslim astronomer of the X-XI centuries, was the daughter of the also astronomer and polygraph Maslama al-Mayriti, whose surname means "man from Madrid".
She wrote numerous works, known as "Fatima Corrections."
She worked with his father in his astronomical and mathematical investigations.

There are doubts about the real existence of Fatima.
However, we must take into account the low importance given to women's works and their achievements in the scientific fields.
Maybe they deleted her existence from the history books, as they did with Subh of Córdoba.
Our future task is to discover it.
